Bohara Estate
Bohara Estate responds to the UAE climate through deep overhangs, layered elevations and carefully positioned glazing. Strong horizontal lines and cantilevered forms give the large residence a light, contemporary profile while controlling heat and glare.
Travertine and warm wood bring balance to the facade, while palms, lawns and water elements temper the surrounding microclimate. The architecture is planned to make indoor-outdoor living effortless without sacrificing shade, privacy or environmental comfort.
Bohara Estate is conceived as a modern villa spreading across 30,000 sq. ft. it is designed with a strong sensitivity to the UAE’s climate and lifestyle. Clean horizontal lines, pronounced cantilevers, and large glazed openings define the modern architectural language, creating a visually light structure despite its generous scale. Deep overhangs and layered surfaces provide essential shading from the harsh desert sun, reducing heat gain while allowing ample natural light to filter into the interiors.
Contextually, the design responds to UAE’s hot climate through a seamless indoor–outdoor relationship. Vulcan wood accents contrast beautifully with travertine, enhancing the façade through a refined interplay of warmth and permanence. Lush palm trees, manicured lawns, and water bodies soften the architecture and create a microclimate that enhances thermal comfort.
